Occupant fit checking in the accident vehicle, or an exemplar vehicle, with an exemplar human surrogate is often utilized. A multi-disciplinary approach is often utilized involving reconstruction, structural and metallurgical analysis, biomechanical analysis, and vehicle warnings methodology.
